Bulgaria is one of the oldest country of Europe. Located in the heart of the Balkans, it suffered for a long time the influence of the USSR, but after the fall of the Bulgarian Communist regime in 1989, Bulgaria has started a process of democratization culminated in EU accession in 2007.

Strategic for trade between Europe and Asia, Bulgaria is going through a period of economic development, due to the European policies of the current government. Thanks to these reforms, Bulgaria is a good land for foreing investment: fast and efficient bureaucracy, a good transport network and a low labor cost, are only some of the reasons to invest in Bulgaria.The official language is Bulgarian, but Russian and the Turkish are quite spoken. English is spoken in trade relations.The Bulgarian Law is a legal system of civil law, codified in all its major branches. In some cases it still suffers the influence of the communist period and the socialist law of the former Soviet Union.
